I suppose that if it was true and supposed to be released this summer we would have heard a lot more about it.
But yeah, I think it would have been great.

Not really. For instance, the CGI movie called "Resident Evil: Degeneration was talked about all over the Internet, Radio, TV, Newspapers and magazines (the gaming type.) But the movie after it, the CGI movie "Resident Evil: Damnation" wasn't even brought up much and passed under the radar way more than the first one.

So it's easily possible to have a Bioshock movie not even heard about much.
