Zero Dark Thirty is a 2012 American spy thriller directed and co-produced by Kathryn Bigelow with screenplay by Mark Boal. Billed as "the story of history's greatest manhunt for the world's most dangerous man," the film chronicles American efforts to kill Osama bin Laden after the September 2001 attacks, and his death at the hands of the Navy S.E.A.L. Team 6 in May, 2011.

This movie was pretty good, but it hides a lot of stuff(possibly top secret...)

I haven't seen this yet, but it's just a little odd to me that they've already made a movie about this when it was only two years ago that it happened. It also makes me wonder what the appeal of romanticizing this sort of thing is, but that's not something I'd really prefer to get into a lengthy discussion about.

Also, if they made it sound like they were hiding anything, do remember that most likely the creators of the movie wouldn't have known either.

To the credit of the writer, however, this was originally in the works for years before Bin Laden was killed, but had to be rewritten to be more topical after his death. That fact makes it less likely that he was merely capitalizing on the hype.

The big controversy over the film is whether Hollywood is using a film about such a critical point in our lifetime to push liberal views.
Whether that is true or not, who knows, but Hollywood is far left.

But let's be real, all entertainment people are, and not for any reason other than money. Once you have so much, it makes sense to want more.

No, I'm not dumpin' on Liberals. Hollywood just so happens to be rather liberal.

It wouldn't change my thoughts on them even if they were Conservative. If they were, and implemented those views into a film such as this, I'd be pretty pissed too.

But I digress.
