Well, after a month of waiting, this film was finally released in Australia yesterday. Naturally, I saw it as soon as I could. As I expected, IT BLEW MY FUCKING MIND!!! It was so fucking amazing, and personally I think it may be one of Tarantino's best films yet.
The plot was interesting, and, as usual, the dialogue was greatness (especially in a
particularly hilarious scene involving head bags) and the movie was filled with typically entertaining, over-the-top Tarantino violence, complete with Kill Bill levels of blood.
The cast was amazing, and they all did an excellent job, particularly Christoph Waltz, who won an award for his role as a German bounty hunter, Dr Shultz. Jamie Foxx was awesome as Django, Leonardo DiCaprio's role was interesting, and as for Samuel L. Jackson... you just have to see it to believe it. There were also some pretty awesome cameos, the most unexpected of which was Jonah Hill as one of the bag cowboys.
All-in-all, fucking epic film. If you haven't seen it, you really, really, need to watch it. It's that great.
