(Sorry if i make any spelling errors and you are free to point them out. just dont be an a** about it if you could) Now i know what your thinking "As if anyone hasnt thought about that." Well i have a lot of money and a good # of actors at my hand. The only problem is i need help with ideas for which game to make into a movie in the Zelda™ series. Any game will do (EXCEPT ZELDA™ CD-I!!) And wind waker. the reson for that is i dont live near a water source big enough to do that. And my money spending range is 2000-3000$. If anyone has any ideas i would love to hear them and also how you would spend the money. Thank You :) ^u^. (By the way i have a cast of 62 people)

If you are actually gonna go through with this, I'd suggest doing Ocarina of Time all the way! Then, if all works out, you could film a Majora's Mask film, which you /know/ would get a huge fanbase, thanks to the whole BEN thing.
That's my two cents.

Personally I would choose Ocarina of Time as well, being that is one of the most well known of the Zelda games. However, it would also be interesting to see if one could pull off 4Swords, Twilight Princess, or Skyward Sword. (But I'm pretty sure you would really need good CG effects to pull it off.)

I also think Ocarina of Time is great choice but I would also love to see Twilight Princess or Majora's mask any of these would be a good choice.

You could probably do this under 1000, if you already had the equipment (DSLR, LOV Mics, etc.)
CGI would be a matter of partnering up with someone or not.
OH!! You could do Link's Awakening! That would probably be much easier. It's not so over the top, and could still be extremely interesting.
Plus, the feels would be intense. You'd need stellar actors though.

I agree with Ocarina of Time. It's one of the more well known and has interesting plot. But out of all the games I would love to see a Four Swords movie since I can easily imagine the links arguing with each other. That would be hilarious!

the only problem is pulling off all the animations like the different crreatures and such, if you could do this, set up an awesome script, good actors, and good animation you would be raking it in and have every zelda nerds full support

Uhm, What about the bosses? I can agree with Saku-Sama With OoT
But the bosses will take alot of either Cgi time or crafting..
All else, I'm not into hollywood making Nintendo based movies seeing as they ruined the mario bros.

I actually have thought about this a lot. How amazing would a Zelda movie be? I mean, yes, there are so many, but what if there are multiple movies, for each of the games? Not a long, extremely brain mush inducing, action filled, hours and hours long of entertainment, but multiple movies of the same degree, only shorter? That would be quite a thing to talk about.

Perhaps you should start with a mini-series. Like... Assume that the people watching have already played the game you are filming. That would then allow you to film specific sections of the game you are emulating, without having to explain a ton of drawn out and really difficult story elements.
By that, I mean film some boss battles. This would show off your ability to choreograph an actors movements in a fight, and show off stellar effects. There wouldn't be any need to worry about story, yet.
That way, you can get your name out there, and then people get a taste of what to expect when you actually do a full out film, if that ever happens.
