I ate remakes of classic movies like Halloween, Friday the 13th, and Nightmare on Elm st. They just ruin the whole series.

>>1 " I ate remakes" how do they taste. I agree on Friday 13th & Nightmare on Elm st. But I thought Halloween was pretty good.

I've seen HAlloween. Not that scary, not "Hide under your bed sheets with a shotgun scary", just startled scary.

Most scary movies nowadays suck. Most of them are just blood and gore, and somehow that makes it scary. I like the old ones that relied on the story and the possibility of it being true. Those get to you a lot more than some over the top gore movie.

The most recent one that I have seen was House on Haunted Hill. The remake has little to no story, but the original is not meant to be scary. The original has a crazy ending that I didn't see coming.

I normally watch remakes, and can't help but compare it on the original and comment on how they kind of ruined the original by making a remake.

Most scary/horror and thriller movies today are a bit cliched already. It's like everyone can always predict what happens.
