A What-if movie: Naruto, Live-Action movie! (21)

1 Name: Konpachi : 2012-10-05 13:31 ID:Iux0iish [Del]

This idea was laying in the back of my mind for quite a while, even though the makers of the movie could possibly mess it up for all of us, I think it can be done. Please post your opinion on this possible movie.

Nope.

I'm not sure that would be such a good idea. Naruto is a pretty long series and longer with Shippuden. It all depends on what arc the movie would focus on and even then there would have to be a lot of details added otherwise it wouldn't be so good and might even confuse people that haven't seen the show or read the manga.

I don't see it.

I think it would be more Shippuden and focus around the Akatsuki...What do you guys think? If you have more ideas for how the story goes, go on, post away!

>>5 If it would be more about Shippuden wouldn't there still need to be a lot of explaining to do? The movie would have to describe Naruto and his team, what happened in the first series, and what led to certain events all within a period of time. Also, I know you get to see more of the Akatsuki in Shippuden but that too would still need a lot of explaining. Besides people still don't know a whole lot about the Akatsuki like how it started or even how the real leader looks like (unless you've read the manga). And I don't think a Naruto Live-Action film should focus on the Akatsuki if the title itself is saying Naruto. I could understand an anime film that was about the Akatsuki but not a live-action one where more than likely people who haven't heard of Naruto are not going to want to watch it because they wouldn't know what's going on.

Yeah, I guess the thought of a live action Naruto film does seem a bit, weird to me after a while. I think the fight scenes and other things can be done, but I didn't think about how the story line would go, my bad.

>>8 If they did attempt this, they'd probably just create their own storyline.

Anyways, I really think this is a bad idea. For some reason I can picture it turning out similar to The Last Airbender (don't ask why) and I'm sure none of us want that. You know filled with nothing but ethnic stereotypes and CGI. Fuck you, M Night Shyamalan.

>>9 AGREED
I'd say a definate no,not because they can't,but for the fact of there being as 50/50 chance of this being ok,or an utter mess!

This would lead to the epic fail of EPIC EPIC fails.

This would be great. But I prefer a computer-animated film.

It would just be another thing to rage about in the internet when it turns out to be as bad as the Dragon Ball movie.

>>15 that's the reason why it should be made!

17 Name: Konpachi : 2012-10-16 08:54 ID:vdO+63X9 [Del]

Well then, why not completely computer-animated, the live action is a 50/50 chance, but computer-animated could be better! I agree with Galem on the cpu animated...

It would fail. Dragonball evolution all over again.
But on the bright side heres what we'd expect if Ryan Higa diected it...
