Okay, so I've been fangirling over this show for the past few weeks or so, so here's a thread about it.
Merlin is your average show that explores the stories and concepts behind the Arthurian legend, except with a twist -the protagonist of the series is not the old and bearded warlock that we thought he was. Instead, he's a young (and rather amateur) sorcerer who has yet to discover the path ahead of him.
The series, created by Julian Jones, Jake Michie, Julian Murphy and John Capps for the BBC currently has four seasons with a fifth ready to be premiered in September. Despite being a tad bit cheesy in some parts, Merlin utilises a lot of humour in its dialogue, with many of its characters lovable in their own unique way.
