Christopher Nolan is my Idol. He's the only guy who can make a superhero film real in the least bit. The Dark Knight Trilogy is deep as hell and epic as hell. Christopher Nolan is a true visionary in every sense of the word and I give him my thanks.

Just went to see Dark Night Rises, It was good, although Bane sounded like Sean Connery lol

Saw Dark Knight Rises last Sunday. :D It was awesome, but I still like the second movie the best. ^_^

It was good but it didn't live up to all the hype I had heard...
and I couldnt enjoy it more because I didnt understand what the villains were doing
1. why didnt Bane just kill Batman after he defeated? why did he bother to take him all the way to the prison in another country?
2. by the way, how did batman get back to gotham after climbing out?
3. I dont understand what Miranda/Talia was trying to do... destroy Gotham with a bomb? but why? Her father wanted to destroy Gotham because in his eyes, it was like a modern Babylon, corrupted beyond saving. But Miranda/Talia shouldn't be wasting her time and money and life to finish her father's mission. She hates her father!

by the way, I know Talia and Batman had a fling in the comics/animated series.... but that love scene came right out of NOWHERE! I'm watching it and I go "....HOW THE HELL DID THAT HAPPEN?!?!" LOL

It's still a good movie, but it's also fun to poke holes in it!

oh, i never read the comics... do the comics explain why talia wanted to destroy gotham and herself?

I was... less than pleased with the new Dark Knight flick. Those of the clergy, throw thy stones.

Granted I am a bit biased, as I am a huge stickler for keeping super heroes canon. But I was hoping that Ra's Al Ghul dying in the first movie was the only mishap. And, I was a little pleased that he was given the ax early on, because Ra's is a dick.

Second movie left me feeling all warm and fuzzy on the inside, not gonna lie. Yes Harvey Dent's death was... unsettling, but Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker was absolutely fantastic.

Then, the third movie happened. Okay here's a list:

1. Bane is NOT a Ukrainian prisoner! He was born in a prison, yes, but it was in Pena Dura in the Carribean! Instead, we are given a beefy white dude that sounds like Sean Connery.

2. Bane was naturally big, yes, but what gave him an edge over Batman was his being subject to the drug, Venom, which makes him even larger and just the slightest bit mentally unstable.

3. Robin's original name was Dick Grayson, not Blake or Robin.

4. Talia Al Ghul and Batman don't just have a fling in the comics, those two are romantically linked. Talia is the love interest for Batman, not Catwoman.

5. The ending was wrong... that's all I can say without giving away spoilers.

I just... I don't know. The trilogy went: good, orgasmic, and.... Oh, come on!
