I didn't quite want to put this on Missions, as it really isn't. It's made for 1 specific group of people. Gamers.

Now, this is an Activity in which will be record in the style of a Documentary, mainly because it will be one.

What I want people to do is record basic interview style, of people playing games, and you talking to them about what you want, and I'll be putting it together as one small or large (depending on who joins) movie.

The idea is to show Society what the Gamers want, and why everyone making games should care. Since they are the ones whom are buying it.

It doesn't matter what game, unless porn related, as it's all games people "play". I don't care what questions you ask, just as long as we get their opinion on the games they play, what they want to play, and what they think of the companies who produce new generation games.

Afterwards I'll be using it as the debut video for "Atomic Atmosphere" and will explain what it is, on this topic, as well as a link to the video itself.

Everyone involved will be given credit, and a link on the credits to any type of site they have that they wish to showcase. Now we can discuss the stuff in here, if it's okay with everyone, while making these video bits. I hope we get enough to at-least make it near and/ or over 2 hours long. This would be a good ending point to stop the video on.

When you're ready, you can send your videos to my Email, and/ or upload your bit to Youtube and I'll download it from there, just as long as you provide me with a link, preferably through an Email.

This, in my honest opinion, I think will do great. I'm wanting it to be at-least near, or more, than 2 hours long. It'll take some time to do, but when we do it, it'll be all that much better.

I'm also going to get my friend to make original Techno/Metal mixed music to go with the opening and ending.

So, anyone thinking about joining in on this? We're a long way from reaching anything nearing 2 hours long. Like...not even started. Now, I am trying to get a Camera sent in to me, so I can join in the actual recording process, but until then I must rely solely on you all, to help me make this a reality.

I will be trying to aim for custom opening music, credit music, and just music for when the videos take some form of intermission.

Now I would love something sent in by this week, if at all possible. I think we could do 10 minute videos each, so it gives us a lot of people's views on this, from different submitters.

You're to interview other people, not yourself. You can add in your opinions and stuff, and throw in a self interview as well, if you wish.

Anyone who doesn't want to do video, can join in on a Wiki team and general information gathering team for the site creation.

What they do, is make a wiki page about the project, as well as chooses what is best in terms of information that will go onto the main site we'll have made up.

I've come up with more positions for people to do, if they can't record others.

One being the person who answers questions, and does official work to get the project out there.

Also if you've a web camera, you can record your own opinions and we'll have it as a bonus feature, so that it'll show what the film makers think as well. Maybe have it as a video that plays when the credits play.

This project is STILL going. Just saying.

I've got a bunch of gamer friends, but i am not sure if i could get a hold of a video camera or if i could get the consent of some of them to participate in it, some of them are pretty paranoid about things like this. i'll get back to you if I can help and send some footage your way.

This sounds pretty neat, though I'm not sure how much of an impact it would have on the industry itself. The games they fund rely on different factors than simply fervent demand - numbers speak louder than words from a corporate standpoint, and unfortunately that's what actually drives the funding.

Regardless, it would be interesting to see this kind of thing happen. I don't know if there's anything new to be gleaned from this, but I suppose that's the whole point of compiling it in the first place.

Do let us know if any progress has been made, though. I might be able to find people to interview once everyone's back in college.

Right now the thing that's slowing progress is that people aren't sending in content, and that has absolutely nothing to do with money problems since it's independent activity.

One comment I forgot to make in my last post was to commend you on not taking after certain dumbasses using kickstarters, and even though I didn't say it, I'd like to not have to retract that notion.

I plan to use Kickstarter on a far different project not dealing with video. This, on the other hand, I thought money might be able to more-so get some advertising done on places, so that it's known when it's completed, or even known about the project itself.
