>>4 basically, what he said. Yoshika, now a Pilot Officer, goes to Europe to attend the Helvatian medical school. On the way, she gets caught up in the latest Neuroi counter-offensive, which takes the battle across the Rhine, and back into Gallia (France).
IMO, It is pretty short, and basically just an extended episode. What I find most interesting about it is that at the end, it says "To be continued", so there will hopefully be a third season.
Seeing the Major in a biplane is badass, though. I'm dissapointed by the lack of certain characters, however. Hartman, Barkhorn, and Minna (Plus the rest of the Luftwaffe) seem to get alot of screen time, and Yeager/Luchini also get their own portion in Venice. Perrine and Lyn get a few minutes as well, but Sanya and Eila (On the Russian Front) get very little screen time. The Major doesn't show up till near the end.
Also, for it being Strike Witches, there is quit a bit of blood, and Yoshika suddenly went from an annoying pacifist to a complete badass, defying orders, kicking ass, and chewing bubble gum.
