What is a Movie or Show that you hate but everyone else loves and why?

jersey shore, degrassi(?), umm... pretty much any actual show aired on mtv or whatever that wasnt music based. Never really cared much for smallville either.

American remake of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Everybody hates it because they hate that America always makes remakes of foreign films, and that everyone else was really satisfied with the way they made the Swedish version.

I prefer the American version, it stayed true to the books more than it did in the Swedish.

It ended the same way in the American.

And at least in the American Mikael had a daughter, he didn't in the Swedish. There's a few other differences I can think of too, but they ended the American version really well. Tying up all the loose ends that there are. Even if the movie was mostly about sexual abuse, I bet the only thing you did see what just the anal rape scene. It's easy to make judgements even when you don't have all the facts.

But you know, I could be wrong.

Tbh I was very neutral when it came to Dr. Who. I never actually had a liking or disliking for it until I recently started watching it and I must say people who hate it either have no brains or just are in need of a brain transplant.

Slumdog Millionaire. the worst movie I've ever seen. I'm not a hipster or anything, I just can't see the movie as enjoyable. different strokes for different folks I guess.

Naruto... I don't know I just hate the animation and the characters and I think the story line is stupid but everyone I know loves it.

Superbad.

One of the greatest movies of whatever year it came out, apparently - and what I consider to be a landmark in the downfall of the movie industry's quality. Granted, it's not as bad as I anticipated at the time - movies coming out more recently haven't been as terrible, on average, but the fact that a movie like Superbad - which only had maybe two jokes throughout the entire movie that I considered actually funny - became so popular with the general public disappointed me heavily.

Movie would have been 90% better if it was a 10 minute clip with the McLovin scenes only.

Kung Fu Panda.

I just have a hard time grasping my head around the whole ninja, panda thing. Don't get me wrong I love ninjas and pandas. And I like the idea of the "underdog" being "the chosen one"... but I just don't like the movie very much... I could probably watch it every few years and tolerate it... but not like my friend who watches it every week O__o

Bleach.

Terrible animation (too many reused scenes, the characters always look stiff), inconsistencies all over the place, too much explanation during a fight/the scenes aren't well balanced, and if you miss an episode you're screwed; their reviews don't explain anything, especially for new viewers.

Naruto for similar reasons; uhhhh....Twilight for obvious reasons...Don't think there's much else. Haven't seen alot of media lately.

Personally, I <3 Bleach. Twilight, meh... good effects and battles though, but other than that, not really entertaining...

One piece for me. I never saw much of it, I didn't understand ANY of it, and I do not really care to to be honest.

I can't stand MTV in general. If they play it, i hate it. Partily because it a bunch of crap that no one really cares about and that MTV means Music TV...Where is the music?!!?

The cast members were fine, but the main character, Johnny(played as Tommy Wieasu, also the director, and the story writer of the movie), is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO stupid!! His acting just makes me LAUGH! Even parts of the movie, that are suppose to be serious, makes me want to bang my head on a desk. XD

Actually,(I can't believe I'm saying this) Twilight has been growing on me. *gasp* I watched the first movie again, and I heard Paramore. That's what got me. Then I watched the 2nd one. My sister didn't have the 3rd one on DVD yet(those were all he DVDs) and I didn't see the 1st part of the 4th one yet(that was when I still hated it) and I'm not gonna see the 2nd part in theaters, I'll just wait for the DVD.
Also, I wouldn't really call this hating, but I wasn't enthralled by The Dark Night. NI know how well-received it is by fans, but it isn't my favorite superhero movie. I'm still gonna see The Dark Night Rises, though.

Twilight and the Hunger Games! I dont like when a book that NOBODY reads for like a year is brought out in a movie and all of a sudden EVERYBODY loves it!

Fucking Hunger Games... Seriously, how the hell did this get to be so popular? Though I think the strongest reason I hate is just because it was first recommended to me by the school system, and I've never liked things backed by schools, and books are no exception.
Oh, and I know it's a game and not a film or T.V. series, but I seriously don't care for Kingdom Hearts. I can see why people like it, but I think it's fanbase is disproportionate to it's epicness.

Inception. Maybe it was my mood because I was incredibly bored and might have just wanted lots of action scenes to keep me awake but I found the whole movie pretty dull.

I'm one of the many people who don't like the Twilight series, I find it to be TO homosexual, one of the characters has to have his shirt of, and the both talk in low tones like their coming onto every person they meet. Though that is just my opinion.

Twilight! I don't get why people (mostly girls) like it! I myself is a girl but I prefer Harry Potter over some sparkling glitter princesses, pedo bears, and even a poker faced girl, I don't like to sound rude to the twilight fans but...I find it not recommended to children because there are scenes we are not suppose to see. that's what I have to say

I agree Twilight is seriously wierd. I've not only seen girls but also guys get excited about it. i mean come on what kind of vampire sparkles?! Almost all my friends are fans of the movie and i can't understand why. And i agree that children shouldn't watch the movie cause of some of the scenes that they shouldn;t see.

Twlight makes me kinda sick. Why would vampires sparkle, they're supposed to be bloodsucking feinds, not guys who say, oh i love you. no. it is terrible.

I just wasn't into it. Granted some of teh fight scenss were pretty wild, but that's all there is to it.

Twilight- I dont just hate the movie but the fans some how too, okay let me rephrase that, I hate how they act when someone mentions it, it doesnt seem as popular now though (I hope because most people have come to their senses) and I would like to know if Meyers put some situations where some older guy is actually scrwwing a little girl. If so than thats creepy. Plus I dont like Hunger Games, I dont like stories that love nowadys since that crap is used up. Plus The fact children are killing each other is too unerving to me. Maybe people that live in suburbs or safe places with heavy gates keeping them safe, they are okay with reading about children die, but I live in Chicago where more than 24 kids die in just everyday. If I wanted to be entertained by children dying, I'd watch the news.

But it's not REAL people dying. It's a story. It's not like they are saying that it's okay for kids to be killed.
