This is definitely my favorite Miyazaki movie. After Totoro, which I watched when I was too little to remember the story anyway, Spirited Away was the first movie I watched from Miyazaki.

My second Studio Ghibli movie (after Kiki's) in a long list, but it still has been the one that has left the most impression on me. I honestly randomly picked it up at a blockbuster when it came out on DVD (although I had seen Kiki's, I didn't know about Studio Ghibli or it's reputation yet), and I am so glad I did.

I watched it when I was younger and I remember being totally absorbed into the world and the story, but I completely forgot what the movie was called.
Then about a year ago I found out about Studio Ghibli and I found Spirited Away again!

Oh god this thread was started in 2011, wow.
Anyways, loved the movie. It was one of my favourites as a kid, and although I don't watch ghibli as much, their movies and eargasmic orchestra pieces will always have a place in this heart o' mine.
