I just finished Captain America! :D It was really good.~ All my favorite characters died though. =__= Although I should probably get used to it...

Yep, it'll be awesome. ;D I really liked Captain America, although a lot of the "serious" parts made me laugh.

I can't wait for the Avengers movie! But I think they are going to make a couple more movies before creating the movie together.Oh and the Justice League movie is something we should look out for in the near future. :D

I love the Justice League. :D But if they did what Marvel did (giving everyone their own movie first) it would take forever. xD

I don't read American comics that much, but can someone tell me who or what the Avengers are avenging?

I know WHO the avengers are, I was just wondering if they all aim to avenge a specific person or ideal, which now that I think about it might be unreasonable, seeing as how some of them are from different time periods /worlds as others.

Parts of this movie had me speechless. It was just so damned awesome. I feel like Thor didn't get enough focus, but other than that they did a terrific job of pacing.

As Mael said, they pulled it off in the best way - without overloading it with content, and managing to pace it in a way that was neither rushed nor drawn out. It was just great, all the way through. Of course, since it's technically a sequel to four different movies, as a stand-alone movie it might not have enough exposition - but the fact that they could start right from the last movies' events without explanation was what gave it room to hit the ground running.

And fuck did they run with it.

But since it came out so recently I'll refrain from spoiling anything.

The Avengers was just amazing!!!! If you haven't seen it, go, but if you can't see it in theatres, I highly suggest you buy the Blu Ray when it comes out.

i think the best thing was how they combined the actors into one movie instead of findng all new actors like they usually do. If you know what i'm talking about.

The Avengers was amazing. Hilarious and action-packed, Captain America bitch smacks away a grenade, and Samuel Jackson as Nick Fury was more than enough to make me want to watch it.

man i watched it and it was awsome. seriously no kid when it said must see. i loved it when the hulk is against loki and when the hulk and thor finish batteling together. for those who havent seen this i say go and watch it allready!

If my memory is correct, isn't Spider Man apart of the Avengers? I know that they are restarting the Spider Man movies and going by the comic. If he is part of the Avengers, will he be in the second Avengers movie?

yes.. you're correct.. spiderman is really part of avengers.. if we rollback to the 1st avenger comic, there is ironman, hulk, thor and spiderman.. so, i hope in the 2nd movie spiderman will show up..

Going to see it today

Looked it up.

So far, Marvel has plans to make Iron Man 3, Captain America 2, Thor 2, and maybe Hulk 2, before Avengers 2 in 2014 at the earliest.

They might also be doing Ant Man. Which would also be kind of awesome. But in any case, you all have those movies to look forward to before another major climactic crossover. I mean, look at how much the movie made within the first week of its release - there's absolutely no way they're just going to walk away from that now.

Let's hope they keep Joss Whedon for the next one too. At least for the writing. Or if not, hope real bad that it'll be someone else just as good. I really think that it was through his magic that this movie worked so well.

Anyway I have a bit of an Avengers problem. I never expected the hype to get me like this but now I can't get out. Superheroes, superheroes are great.

AVENGERS was an AWESOME movie!!!! it is one you could see again and again and again!!

I'd really rather have some of the New Avengers in the second movie... Spider-Man, Wolverine, Daredevil, The Thing, and led by Captain America, instead of Nick Fury. Each of the characters have had their own movies, and, in some cases, even multiple movies.
I also just saw the movie. I'm surprised Samuel Jackson didn't say that he was tired of the motherf***ing heroes on the motherf***ing plane.

This was the best frickin' movie EVUR!!! Hulk stole the show. It was a good movie because the characters kept their personalities instead of bascially being one person, very unlike other team movies. Stan Lee is boss.

One tiny thing bugged me though. Like, they're in Germany, and everybody is speaking English. Fluently.
The rest of the movie made up for it, but I found it strange since usually the people would at least have a German accent or like, English subtitles or something since...well they're in Germany.
It was just so odd I couldn't help but laugh xD

Those Chitauri battle beasts were pretty sick too.

The Avengers was a great film, had me and my friends in stitches when we went to see it!

I recently watched The Avengers for the first time and I have to say that in all honesty, it wasn't the best movie ever. It was the best ACTION movie ever, though I can't say it's my favorite movie. I can't really say which one is my favorite avenger either mainly because it's kind of hard to decide on one. But overall, I don't regret watching it I just think it's kind of overrated in terms of it being considered the best film around.

the Avengers is one hell of a movie.
