Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt. 2 (37)

1 Name: Lizzy : 2011-07-19 01:11 ID:7B+iJDVH [Del]

I went to a midnight premiere with some friends and we dressed up as Ravenclaws. I thought this was the best Potter movie and was in tears by the middle of it :-(
So, who else has seen it? What do you guys think of the movie?

2 Name: Egerod : 2011-07-19 07:05 ID:1AcWJ1UX [Del]

It was great, even though i likked pt. 1 more, but it was still a great movie, except the ending, it was over abit to fast, but don't wanna spoil anything

>>2 Eh? I liked part 2 better.

It was so sad. TT__TT I read all the books so I knew *those characters* were going to die, but it still made me cry.

>>3 I ended up crying during the movie too, despite knowing what was gonna happen. But there were lots of very kickass moments, though.

>>3 Well the ending just didn't live up to my expectations, all the stuff leading up to the fight was awesome, but after the final fight, it was like, "Yay we won... Now remember that time where i couldn't find my wand?". That was just a let down for me, but beside that it was awesome =)

i agree with you Egerod. i have watched it last sunday and i found the movie awesome, except for the fight of Harry and Voldemort. it's like voldemort just disappeared after nagini was killed and they won. >.< they should have done something big for the ending. but still. the whole movie was a blast. :)

joining

i don't know why.. but i like the part when voldemort said to nagini (lol i keep saying panini) that he must keep her safe kinda felt bad for him, kinda find the scene cute (masters DO love their pets even if they're evil)

and of course neville's heroic moment is epic

My parents are so bad with movies that HP7 Pt. 2 would be out on DVD and online Netflix streaming by the time they find time to take me to the theater.

Saw the movie in 3D last Saturday night. Loved it even though there were some things that were off, but that was expected since they all had that and that the movies are based on the books. I definitely cried at some parts.

I liked it, I also went to the premiere and cried. But I kind of wished that they put in more of Dumbledore's story tho.

>>20 I kind of agree with you about Albus' story, but they might have thought that some of it might have been irrelevant since there were some key points that we have already heard in other movies. Even the first part had some things about Albus. Aberforth did explain what happened when they were younger and some things, like Albus' battle with Grogoravich (sp?) was mentioned in the first part when Hermione was showing Harry Rita Skitter's book. Hope this helps a little. :)

Is it weird that I was close to tears when Voldemort died? Anyways the movie was great, loved all of them (except the 5th one..don't think anyone liked that)

35 Name: Ipwnzmaster : 2011-08-08 01:49 ID:hWGJu5qW [Del]

When i heard the backstory about snape i almost cried when he died :( and the twin that was so sad crying over his brother that would be so sad.

36 Name: AjikanFooFaita : 2011-08-09 04:14 ID:8FVTp5oa [Del]

i liked it a lot, now after watching it, i saw Felton on Rise of the Apes, and i think to myself, whats gonna happen to Radcliff? is he gonna be typecasted like Mark Hamill was?

37 Name: Tron Cat : 2011-08-09 07:26 ID:TQ0NznLv [Del]

I agree, it was the best out of all of them. I had to fight back tears. Only part of the book that made me tear was the beggining when Dudley asked why Harry wasn't leaving with them but the movie was way more heart felt for me.
