Can't say for certain about your region's Dollars having a meetup, but my region's Dollars had had a meet up few times in the past.
Also, don't make duplicate threads. Once you make something, it stays there for a long time unless you delete them while the thread still didn't have replies and your IP hasn't changed. Reusing old threads are encouraged, thank you.

Late answer, but it simply make the thread stay down. We reply to threads and every time we did it, the thread would get bumped automatically/gets on top of the board. Ticking the sage box would cancel this bumping effect, your reply would get posted but it wouldn't move that thread to the top of the board. I believe you could read more about it in the FAQ thread on Main.
