Hey everyone, for those of you who don't know, I started a thread almost 20 days ago introducing the idea of a way for local Dollars to be in touch with one another. The main purpose was to create a way for Dollars that live near each other to both communicate as well as get help for something they believe should be done (think of how in the anime Mikado got Dollars in the area to clean up the graffiti, though it can be anything). In that thread, several people helped to finalize the ideas, and now it's finally ready. So, to join these chats you just have to follow these steps:
1. Get the Group Me app. It's free and available on most smartphones.
2. Send a request via email to the person in charge of your areas chat. As of right now, we only have two countries ready right now, but we are planning on doing more (more on that later). These are the people who are in charge of the current chats:
U.S.: Commander Wof commanderwof.dollars@gmail.com
U.K./Europe: Kimitara kimitara.dollars@gmail.com
The information that you have to include is the email that you are using for your Group Me account (this can be changed btw) or your phone number if you prefer so that we can invite you to the chats.
And that's all it takes to join, so I'll now go into some specifics on how this will work. The U.S. and U.K./Europe chats are divided into separate smaller groups and the groups were decided based on things like the Dollars Map and country threads to approximate the number of Dollars in each area. That way areas with a smaller number of Dollars won't feel lonely while at the same time preventing the chats from being to cluttered by putting several of the most populated areas in one chat.
As time goes on, the chats will start to fill up, so eventually the individual states/countries will begin to be split into their own separate chats. However, understand that the chats will not fill up over night, so if you want this to grow, then share this thread around, go to the Dollar chat rooms and spread the word, anything you can think of!
Now I mentioned creating chats for other countries and/or continents above. The way this will work is we need someone to volunteer to create the chats and be in charge of adding people for their area. HOWEVER, please understand that if you volunteer, it is expected that you will be available almost everyday of the week so that people can be added to those chats, so if you don't think you can be active very often, I wouldn't recommend volunteering.

So today, someone changed their GroupMe email to my Dollars email and then proceeded to try and delete my account. Considering the fact that my email contains both an inside joke that only I know and the Dollars name in it, it's impossible for this to be a coincidence, especially since this person tried to delete my account two minutes after they changed their email!
However, I am pleased to inform you that this person failed! While I will not give this persons email away for their privacy, the email had the name Maumi in it and GroupMe addressed one of the emails as HLL II. The fact that they knew my email means that this person is a Dollar as well, and although, we may never find out who this person is, there's no reason to worry. You see Maumi, no company worth their salt would allow two accounts to use the exact same email, and even if they did, not only is my Dollars email NOT the one I use for my GroupMe account, GroupMe also gives you a two day grace period to cancel the deletion of an account.
So nice try Maimu, however, you're little "joke" failed miserably.
