In these last few days, we have had devastating things happen not just in Paris, but all around the world. On that same unfortunate day of the terrorists attack, Japan was effected by an earthquake, Mexico had an earthquake and a hurricane, and Lebanon suffered suicide bombings.

I found an article concerning the suicide bombings in Lebanon. It piqued my interests and questions a lot: “When my people died, no country bothered to light up its landmarks in the colors of their flag,” Elie Fares, a Lebanese doctor, wrote on his blog. “When my people died, they did not send the world into mourning. Their death was but an irrelevant fleck along the international news cycle, something that happens in those parts of the world.”

I find this quite upsetting aswell. What do you guys think?

Everyone, please stay safe and pray for the world.
