Neato :) We should recruit some friends that would fit in to the dollars community. Put up posters around our city / school spreading kindness like Lobbey did. He put up a bunch of "take what you need" posters with tabs at the bottom that said Hope, Love, Happiness etc.

I'm up for a meet-and-greet, but school's starting this week so I don't see much freedom for long-distance trips, which are probably necessary. We could postpone 'til May, maybe -- meet up at Anime North. Or meet during the winter break in December.

unsure of what people who show up for, regular meet-and-greet, or a movie night deal,
should people request a 'freebie' meet, we could all meet up in an area for a water fight, picnic [bring your own food/drink]
a games day [chess/checkers, scavenger hunt, or sports]
hell, could even be a meet-up in a coffee shop/ice cream parlour [like the one on danforth/ near dawes in the east end (its only open during the summer)]
or a pool party

watched the sink hole swallow the van with my own eyes. Rideau is closed indefinitely and the who city's transit is in chaos.

Pickering here. Fascinating to see people still remember this place. I kinda wish we had a more dedicated app or even enforce the password to be entered if you are following a directly link instead of bypassing it.
I miss the days where something like this would be used, and I don't think it will ever come back into popularity again unfortunately.

Nobody is old fashioned enough to go out of their way to use this on a day-to-day basis. Just discord.

Yeah, BBS-es were long out of their heyday but at least this site is still decently active, and has new replies to posts every so often. I wish the password was enforced too!

And who knows what the future may hold? I'm still optimistic that, with major social media corporations becoming increasingly popular, maybe one day, decentralized forums like this would gain some resurgence.
