Not a plot-related thing, but the non-linear storytelling and frequent perspective shifts makes Drrr! actually feel like it's adaptation of a book, unlike many other light novel based shows.
The general distance from the characters, like it was really just telling a story rather than offer a perspective. My loyalty as a viewer kept swaying as I got a chance to equally observe all the characters and their motives. If you liked DRRR because of that you should see Baccano, which is written by the same author. Plotwise... ANRI SLASHER I was so new to anime lol
