I actually don't think we have a good list of long manga. What I mean by long is a manga that has 80+ chapters. Please don't recommend mainstream long shounen like One Piece, Naruto, etc.
Some examples of good long manga I have read are

-Kanata Kara
-Inuyasha
-Yamada-kun and the 7 witches

Uchuu Kyoudai is about two brothers reaching for the moon, literally space and moon related. I'm hooked.
"Won the 56th Shogakukan Manga Award and 35th Kodansha Manga Award in the General Category."
It definitely, in my humble opinion, deserves the awards.
