Each story is from the point of view of someone going through a problem like the ones I listed before. Its a very eye opening series that can teach you more about these problems. For me, it made me realize that these kind of things actually happen to people.

The manga Nana by Ai Yazawa is a bit underrated.
The manga is about two 20 year old young women both named Nana. They meet on a train to Tokyo, Nana Osaki is a punk rock singer, and Nana Komatsu AKA Hachiko, is a girly loved girl. They end up being roommates and go through life together. Sex, drugs, music, friendship,hardships, and love are involved in the manga. This manga left me to tears.

Go read Meshi Dungeon. It's ongoing, and basically, what it's about is a man name Laios who loses his sister from a red dragon, and because of that, him and his team travel through dungeons to save her. They lost all of their money because of the loss and nearly starved to death until they encountered a dwarf who introduces them to dungeon meals that involves cooking the meat of a basilisk and eating a dried up slime.... the mangaka is Yui Ryouko, and the manga is Action, Adventure, Comedy, Drama, Fantasy, Seinen, Supernatural.
