Hi Setton,
I'd recommend "Petshop of horrors" and "Nightmare inspector", they touch many social and psychologycal issues. Very interesting and thrilling stories. You won't sleep until getting to the end, I'm sure about that!

yamishibai is like something small to watch in the dead of night but fuck is it scary. Its like a collection of really short horror stroies but its really cute (and scary as shit) its something to pass the tme with also season three is coming out this year (oh the hype)

1. Another (Barely any blood at all, super chilling o.o)
2. Higurashi (psychological thriller, yandere- contains blood+gore)
3. Mirai Nikki (Less blood, more drama and yandere)
As for manga I recommend Amigara Fault by Junji ito. Nothing near gory, but SCURRY AS FRICK.

you should try "Doubt". its a really cool horror story revoling around a game called 'doubt rabbit'. in the game you are either a rabbit or a wolf, the wolf kills the rabbits and they need to work together to find the wolf before he wins.once the game becomes real the group playing must find who the 'wolf' is.

Tokyo Ghouls manga is #1 horror manga from what I've heard, but i might be wrong. You should check it out, its really good, despite the anime being a train wreck
