Has anyone read it?
I must say, I've never thought that I'd be so scared while reading a manga. Like seriously, it's creepy as hell, in a totally unexpected way. That chapter with those pregnant women? Don't make me remember that.
It's basically a story about a small town haunted by spirals. So you have no idea of how could spirals be so scary? Well, take a chance to find out. There are only 3 volumes and the drawing style of Junji Ito is awesome. Totally worth reading! (even though I had nightmares at the night I finished it)
(Junji Ito has also written two other great horror mangas, Tomie and Gyo, if you get interested on more)

I have read all three of the books. It didn't seem all that frighting at first, in fact it never did scare me. At the end though I did find it strange that it had shifted from one story line to a different one entirely.
