Welcome to the Dollars.

A huge forest, sprawling and wide, thick with evergreens and oaks. A river cuts through, almost dream-like in its existence; the sky blue and beautiful casts life giving light down onto the land below.

A figure is bent down peering down into a river, spear in hand, they are poised to strike at any moment.

A fish swims under water, strong and constant in the quick current of the water.

With precision and strength the spear strikes cleanly through the unaware fish.

Proud with their catch the figure stands with spear in hand. A silent smile flickers across their face.

???: "Ha ha! I can't believe it worked!"

The figure takes the short trek home.
A small cabin is set off from the river, a clearing of trees cut back for space and fire wood.

This is home, as good as it gets.

The figure hangs up their catch on a hook by the unlit fire place. There is other business to attend to at this moment.

The figure scoots up to the desk to use the computer. The whole cabbing is supplied by power, not a lot but enough.

They log into a familiar site...

They default into the main board.

???: “Everything looks to be well here… no spam yet.”
“Time to relax and catch-up on all the hullabaloo.”

They scroll down.

They scroll down a tad.

???: “Ah, here we go some spam!”
“Although there is no need to defend the main board this time, Equinox has got it covered.”

They continue to scroll down.

They stop scrolling abruptly.

???: “Whats this all about? More spam? Whatever, I’m not going to deal with it this time.”

Feeling oddly passive, the character decides they have had enough of the Main Board.

???: “Maybe some checking out some news will get me in a better mood?”

Probably not…

???: “Worth a shot though!”

They don’t even bother scrolling down.

???: “Are you kidding?! Spam here too…?”

After some reading however:

???: “Kaaaayyyyyyy…? I honestly don’t know what to believe in.”

This browsing experience has done everything but relax the character.

???: “Its probably time to check out the RTT.”

Probably.

After searching previous comments on the RTT they find nothing relating to their questions.

Puck: “Maybe someone on here has more info on this shit.”

Its probably all spam anyway…

Puck leaves the comment, knowing a response will probably not arise.

Puck: “Might as well have a bit of fun before supper.”

Puck pulls up Puck’s Random Thread Generator! Its a little rough; he programmed it himself though, and he's proud of that...

Puck: “918 eh? Good enough I suppose, might as well find what board to check out…

Thinking…

Puck: “I have never actually checked out the Introductions Board, might as well now..”

To the Intro Board!

Puck: “Lets see what lucky thread number 918 is!”

Puck: “Ctrl-F is a life saver for sure!”

The page leaps down to post 918…

Puck: “Seems like a simple enough of a post…”

Might as well get started...

Puck: “What the hell is this?”

Usually there is something to go on, but it looks like a few older members have handled the trolling for him…

Puck: “Might as well just add a little of my own fuel to the flame...”

Puck: “This doesn’t have to be as extensive as the other ones… no point in hiding my name either.”

“Good enough, might as well as get some dinner ready.”

He lifts from his chair and dips back into the cabin.

Puck: “Fish sounds good.”

Roughly skinning the fish in the growing dark proves to be a challenge for the young forest dweller.

Puck: “I should light a damn fire soon.”

The sky: Blue, but growing dark.
The city produces a soft glow in the distance...

The sun sets casting red across the land.

This city glows intensely now, cutting the stars down from the falling blackness of night.
