Hello there. The title makes the objective here pretty self explanatory, but to summarize, I want to see how many of us have a favorite comic book hero and villain. I would like to ask we all put down our reasons as to why they are our favorites, however if its because you think they are cool, that's fine.

My favorite Hero (really Anti-Hero) is Rorschach from The Watchmen. Though has his faults (dislikes homosexuality and really sees most hookers just as filthy as criminals), he does not bend from his core principles no matter what, "not even in the face of Armageddon". His black and white moral code is something that I hold true, because I never liked how so many villains just get off with living even though he or she will just go off to commit more murders (yeah I'm looking at you Batman and Joker). Though he is deeply mentally disturbed, he can distinguish between innocent and filth.

My favorite Villain is Magneto from the X-Men. The reason I like Magneto is because he isn't truly a villain, nor is he a hero. Magneto is the opposite of Xavier in his ways of going about securing the mutant race, I.E being more radical. However in this, he is anti-human and believes them to be the lesser race (though one could say he never fully states it, you kinda get the gist of what his views of humans are). One could draw connections between him and his past in the holocaust, one I could say is a bit hypocritical considering his views on mankind was basically the view Nazis held on Jews of that time. He is no way a Hitler, but I see him as a contrasting parallel to his past and his endeavors with the mutant kind. Something I believe is not often said. Plus he's got magnetic powers, I mean, dude that's awesome.

my favorite hero would have to be son goku from the dragon ball series by akira toriyama, this is due to the lessons i learned reading it as a kid, one of them being that power doesnt have to change you and that a true hero looks for the good in everything and never loses their positive outlook.

my favorite villain would have to be the joker, for no other reason than his chaotic rants and his signature dark humor that makes him so much fun to watch fighting the batman.

Nightwing. My favorite villain...hmmmm....I wanna say joker....but....zsasz maybe...I dont know. That's tough.

Buffy Summers A.K.A Buffy the vampire slayer. Buffy the vampire slayer was originally was a T.V show but like all good shows it eventually went off the air soon it became a comic. The vampire slayer has superior strength compared to vampires and most demons. Super human agility and reflexes (I'm talking about dodging a bullet a point blank range), and the combined memories of all the past slayers. plus they are masters in all forms of weapons and fighting. Buffy proves that a girl doesn't need a man to defend her. My favorite villain is the first evil. The first evil is an entity that has existed since the beginning of time. It is the source of all evil in the universe. Every time that something evil or negative happens it powers the first. Buffy fought and barely defeated the first, she couldn't kill it though because evil will always exist in the world.

Dr.strange master of magic sorcerer supreme he fights the greatest evils far above puny vampires he leaves those for the amateurs.

Favorite villain is the joker enough said

Don't diss the vampire slayer it takes skill to fight a vampire and not get killed, much less slay one.

Plus Buffy's best friend Willow has powers that go beyond Dr.Strange's capabilities.

Hard for me to choose because there's always 6000 different interpretations and versions of characters. I'll like a character in one thing and then dislike that same character in another thing.

Let me try and think though....I guess Jason Todd/Red Hood would be my favorite villain? Or maybe Joker...

And then...Batman be my favorite hero...? Maybe? I say Batman cuz I sort of consistantly like his various interpretations

For hero, it's a tie between Superman and Goku. You just can't hate them and it's a shame that a lot of people pit them up against each other to the death.

For villains probably Dr Doom. The guy turned a third world country into a global superpower by himself and took over the world twice but quit because he got bored.

My favorite hero (or anti-hero) is Afro Samurai he's one of the greatest non super powered fighters in history. He has flawless, unparalleled swordsman skills and uses his skills to drop anyone or anything in his way. His cold blooded fighting style gives me chills. My favorite villain is the joker. What can I say that clown Prince of crime is what makes other villains have nightmares.
