Pokemon Adventures/Special(Shortened to Pokespe) is a manga written by Hidenori Kusaka and illustrated by Mato for volumes 1-9 art taken over by Satoshi Yamamoto from volumes 10- current.
Pokespe features the characters from the video game series with a few additions. The first 3 volumes feature Red (Pokemon R/B/Y protaginist),his rival Blue(or Green for japanese edition),and Green(Unused female protaginist, Blue for japanese edition). Volumes 4-7 feature Yellow(original character). Volumes 8 and 9 feature Gold(Protaginist for gen 2) and Silver(Rival for gen 2)and the next 2 volumes feature Crystal shortened to Crys, and volumes 12-14 have all 3 characters and previous ones. I don't want to continue this post is long already, but this manga is updated with all the current games.
