Hey this a keen comic site that is humerous and can have some moments where u can tear up or show any kind of emotion.
The comic follows characters called the Sins. They're demons and shades that serve as the personifications of the Seven Deadly Sins. The Sins themselves are not evil (they're performing a role), although they do enjoy their jobs and frequently give in to their desires and are rather selfish. After losing a war to the Virtues, the Sins have lost their bodies and are confined to serving Hosts. Over time, the character embodying a sin changes after the shade steps down and gives the position to one of its minions, named Vices.
The Hosts are frequently little children that come upon the Gauntlet that gives them the power to bind and control the Sins. At the cost of their soul, the Hosts take in the Sins' shades and the Sins are required to follow the Hosts' commands. If the Host dies, any bound Sins will be destroyed as well. Hosts can give the Sins free reign, set them loose, or keep them close and use their powers.
The Virtues are the counterparts to the Sins and balance out the Universe. Just as the Sins are not inherently evil, the Virtues are not inherently good and have grown jaded and bitter over time. While the Sins can step down from their positions, the Virtues are locked into their role until humanity no longer gives them power through its belief and faith. After defeating the Sins in battle, the Virtues destroyed the Sins' bodies, bound them to the Gauntlet, and now decide where to place the Gauntlet or who to give it to.
In the first story, Anger grew tired of being bound and used and worked with the Virtues in a scheme to destroy the Host, which would either free the shades or destroy humanity. After its defeat, the remains of Anger's body have possessed or infected other creatures but has since been cleaned up and banished to a Limbo-like realm called the Valley of Darkness, where it has gone slightly mad.
The Tarot are creatures from another world that are the embodiment of ideas, like the Sins and Virtues. After being defeated by Lust and Chastity, the Tarot have grown in number and are determined to take up residence in the Human Realm, even though their presence threatens the balance of the Universe and could tear it apart. One of the former Tarot, Fortune, joined the Sins out of pity but has been abandoned by the Tarot's leader for doing so.
The Sins have a friend and business partner in a necromancer named Murdoch. Their paths have crossed through time and in exchange for power or help, Murdoch will raise souls or build golems to help the Sins. Lust has given him a partner named Slander, a demon and one of the Sins's Vices, who bridges the Demon Realm and the Human Realm.
To see what it's like being human, the Sins had Murdoch build them golem bodies. The Sins quickly found that being powerless and at a disadvantage didn't suit them and had the bodies destroyed. The remains of Lust's golem became infected and has sentience built by Anger, Lust, and a personality of its own. The golem wants Lust and has hunted down its own kind and sent creatures after the Sins to get to her.
Two Hosts that have proven to be exceedingly important are Rhett and Jin. Rhett, the Host from the first story, has connections to the Sins's overall struggle against the Virtues and the balance of the Universe. Lust and Rhett are in love and despite his body dying, Lust has Murdoch build golems to bring Rhett back when she can. Jin is a Host with a strong relationship with Fortune that disappeared after freeing the Sins. She has traveled to other realms, met the Virtues and Tarot, dealt with Anger in the Valley of Darkness, and has taken a role in the Tarot's invasion.
