Scott Pilgrim is pretty dang awesome, but my favorite has got to be The Walking Dead. Never ending zombie survival with lots of character development, and a solid plot make it out to be in league with some of the best comics out there like old man wolverine,and watchmen. (both of which are incredible and should be checked out)
