Genre: Romance, a lot of Comedy xD and Drama

Plot: When Teru's older brother died, she was left with little more than a cell phone containing the text-address of an elusive character named DAISY, who Teru's brother had told her would "support her when he was no longer able to." DAISY became Teru's pillar of strength, over the next few years as he sent her encouraging words through his phone, whether inspiring or mere chatter, as she faces her life alone.

One afternoon, after bullies from the student council are mysteriously driven away, Teru accidentally breaks a school window, which results in her working for the grouchy, cruel school janitor named Tasuku Kurosaki. As Teru begins working for the unlikable school janitor, her feelings begin to surpass that of master and servant and she begins to question DAISY's true identity. Could Kurosaki be her beloved DAISY? Meanwhile, Kurosaki is finding himself steadily drawn to Teru. Will he "reach out" to her?

Anyway, reposting my thoughts here for sake of transition:

Right so, I just marathon read all 43 chapters out so far - It was amazing and owned my soul for an entire day. The fact that it started as a typical shoujo manga and then slowly evolved into what could only be described as a shadowy war of subterfuge between hackers just blew my mind.

Now, that being said - While all the main characters got their chance to be badass, Teru really annoyed the hell out of me. She's supposed to be intelligent, and she's initially protrayed as even being somewhat tough as well as smart. This is a horrible case of Informed Ability, because you you see exactly 3 instances of her being tough the entire series (beginning, mori-fight, kiyo-fight), and even LESS of her being intelligent.

Dear mother of god, how do you fall for the "come to said place alone and I will X" So. Many. Times? Even when it was made painfully clear she was the weakest possible link in everything, she dived right in like a dumbass. Repeatedly.

It became a running gag that if nothing was happening, someone just kidnapped Teru. And damn she had to be good at getting away too - She had a body guard over half the times she got kidnapped. "I went to get a coke and she ran the 40 mile dash =| I never saw it coming."

Those are my major complaints about this series. It's got a great story, very refreshing for a shoujo series, but Teru is a dumb bitch. She had so much potential to develop into something more interesting... It just... never got there. You could occasionally see glimpses of the amazing character she could have been - But most of the time, all you saw was her getting kidnapped.

Waaah! This beats it for me!! This is one of my most favorite shoujo manga of all time...The characters, Plot, twists, Comedy, drama, Romance! Wooo!!! Imma read it again and again...And never get tired of Teru saying " GO BALD KUROSAKI~!!!!"

Oh my good lord above, this is one of my favorite mangas of all time! I'm already a shoujo addict, then this one comes in and it just absolutley blows my mind. Kurosaki is the best character, especially if you read the extra chapter in book one. Speaking of, it got serialized! Saw it in my bookstore today and got many stares because I screamed~ it was so great! Although I've read already up to chapter forty-something, I wanted to buy it to support the mangaka. So if you will (if it's avaliable to you) go purchase the first legal translation!!

Mikami-chan.. you've said that dengeki daisy... has an anime? where? D: I want to see it already! xD

I'm just wanting to read chapter 46 really bad.... I love the story but hate the anticipation waiting for the next chapter! T-T
