From Null:
Congratulations! You are one of the 1 in 100,000 people who have been entered in the amazing LIAR GAME TOURNAMENT!

Along with the postcard there are 100 million yen in notes. That's the beginning of the Liar Game. When the game ends, in 30 days, you will have to return your 100 million. If your opponent steals them, he can keep them as a prize, and you will have a debt of 100 million...
--------------
Nao Kanzaki has been dubbed a "foolishly honest girl" for her excessive faith in the best of others. When a package arrives at her house, she, unsuspecting, opens it only to discover her admittance into the Liar Game -- a twisted, tournament game involving 100 million yen! The profits are high, but so are the prospects of losing.
Allying with an ex-convict, how will she be able to cope with the circumstances? And what is the true intent of the corporation behind the Liar Game?

A mind-boggling, psychological thriller that looks into the nature of the human mind as well as the never ending battle between truth and lies.

^yup, and that's the summary.
I absolutely love psychological mangas and I have to say, this may be the best one out there. The scenarios and the solutions for each one are genius. I usually like to get ahead of the manga and try to predict what will happen, but EVERY single time, my face is left like "(;° ロ°)" or "ヽ(゚ロ゚;)"
-Also, if you read this, tell me your thoughts on Akiyama being the next "L", or maybe even "A," from Wammy's house. Just a thought :D

NO JOKE, THIS MANGA IS INTENSE. IT TEACHES ME THINGS ABOUT LIFE I WOULD NEVER REALIZE. MIND = BLOWN!

Glad to see a fellow LIAR GAME fan!

The following post is inclusive of what has transpired in chapter 145 "Bad Omen" so if you haven't read up to this point, please avert your eyes from the remainder of this post.

@Bread:

Akiyama certainly has come out victorious thus far, and his plans and ability to read people have WOW-ed me time and time again. I'm not sure what he's up to this time though... whether he's trying to help out Nao (if that was that ever his/a real motive?) or if he has something else up his sleeve. So many questions....Why is he still in the game... and why is he playing on behalf of someone else yet again? Will he collaborate with Nao during Bid Poker?

I'd like to see more character development for Akiyama ... we know some information about him, but most of that was gathered in the beginning of the series. We're seeing Nao grow as a person and as a strategic player in the game, but Akiyama is still much more of a question mark.

I'm not sure how to compare Akiyama to L..... L had a network of allies to rely on and would corroborate with police/army/ etc... and up until the end this was all done under persona. Akiyama seems to prefer working alone.... In terms of comparing raw intellectual power.. I still think I'd have to give the edge to L.

I can't believe this, I thought the thread was dead.

>>3 BBS is for discussion. Don't like the way I do things, go masturbate to your yaoi mangas, okay?

>>2 I'm almost positive he will. He helped Nao all this time, so it would definitely be unlike him to abandon her like suddenly. As for his motive, I can confidently say I have no idea what it is. Perhaps it's revenge against people who take advantage of the weak, like the MLM company. Only time will tell, I guess.

As for the characters, there's also Yokoya who seems to know a lot more than he lets on. He's more of a mystery to me than Akiyama, which makes him a good antagonist.

Akiyama and L. They're very different people, but I only thought of them as similar because of the facial features and the intelligence. In reality, they have very different goals, purposes and personalities. It would be nice if they all had a tea party one day. Now wouldn't that be jolly?

I tried to delete the post a while back when I thought it was dead (Just so I wouldn't create clutter), but I somehow derped and forgot I put a picture up.

Everybody has their moments. ;_;

Aw, I'm sure there's no need to delete stuff just because of that. Especially since it was actually well made and there's a lot of other single post threads around that have much less reason for existing. And there's always the chance it'll get commented on by some kind soul someday.

To not be totally off topic, I heard things about this manga and may read it one day. Except that I suck with following through with things I have on my 'waiting list':\

>>14 It's very interesting indeed, and yup, I'm Bread.

I'm just going to ignore >>15 since he doesn't seem literate enough to comprehend anything I might say anyways.

Hurr...I really feel like making Foolycooly angry..(I need to get over that habit.)

Oh well, onto topic. I really want to read this but I don't have time, but I guess I'll get to reading it sometime, the plot sounds pretty interesting.

Oh man, look at Blood and Foolcooly's ID's.

...Mother of god.

The samefag shall forever be engraved in my mind. Bad acting too.

26 Name: *insertnamehere*!!mhJDjCwh : 2012-01-28 18:53 ID:9MGuFmLg [Del]

SaintSoul, if you're still reading this, you're supposed to put in an actual password for your tripcode, like an email password.

Alright, enough derailing after this.

27 Name: SaintSoul : 2012-01-28 18:58 ID:YJ49bUPY [Del]

Yep, sorry. :< Everythingissodamnconfusingtome

28 Name: *insertnamehere*!!mhJDjCwh : 2012-01-28 19:03 ID:9MGuFmLg [Del]

There there, you had it right, up until the part after the exclamation. Damn it, more derailing.

29 Name: SaintSoul : 2012-01-28 19:09 ID:YJ49bUPY [Del]

Doesn't matter anyway, no one's gonna steal my name anyway. (I. Am. Sure.)

30 Name: *insertnamehere*!!mhJDjCwh : 2012-01-28 19:15 ID:9MGuFmLg [Del]

>>29 You sure? Alrighty then. You could be like Ayanavi. Just doesn't give a fuck, because no one dares to steal her name. Or something like that.

31 Name: Bread!BREADU25mg : 2012-01-28 19:39 ID:aIqtPXoq [Del]

AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
WHATTHEFUCK. What a strange way of samefagging.

>>30 I get worried though. She has dynamic IP as well, so if somebody with a decent sense of grammar used her name and posted something, it might be hard to tell the difference.

32 Name: *insertnamehere*!!mhJDjCwh : 2012-01-28 19:55 ID:9MGuFmLg [Del]

AHAHAHA WHAT. Decent sense of grammar. The people who take other people's name never have decent grammar, NEVER. Hell, the only reason I'm using a tripcode is because it's cool, nothing more. People tried to take my name, they all ended in failure, if you look beyond the tripcode.

33 Name: L : 2012-01-28 19:55 ID:w+Tw8tDV [Del]

? ok looking at the other comments this seems...cool fuck yay.awesome i might not read this do not have time so maybe k

34 Name: L : 2012-01-29 09:11 ID:w+Tw8tDV [Del]

so this book does it have like action in it or something that is cool??

35 Name: Bread!BREADU25mg : 2012-01-29 10:55 ID:aIqtPXoq [Del]

>>34 Not too much physical action, more so psychological action. It's like Death Note, if you will. They fight each other in the games they're forced to play strategically. Violence is prohibited in the Liar Game, so you'll see none.

36 Name: L : 2012-01-29 15:37 ID:w+Tw8tDV [Del]

ohh that sucks but i might read it anyways when i have time
