I saw it, the manga is better, the ending for the anime was really disappointing and made no sense :I
Also had nothing to do with the real story.
Though the animation is good and stuff, I just think the ending was really weak.

I think the anime was pretty cool, apart from the ending. I enjoyed watching the anime more than reading the manga, specially for the action scenes. I wish they had given it at least cut it short and done a second season to follow the manga.

I love Soul eater! I totally wish there was a second season too, because Kid could complete the lines of Sanzu, and would be the new Lord Death. But at the end of the manga, I was disappointed that Maka and Soul didn't kiss. Still, I love the anime and manga both!

I didnt like the show compared to the manga. I think they definitely could have taken it farther though and made it into a running manga. It was nice to see everyone animated and watch the sun laugh and sleep but they did the show to early and didnt get to any of the good stuff. They should redo the show Brotherhood style and finish what the manga did.
If you havent read the manga its a must if you liked the show. Kid goes HAM...

I loved the manga for Soul Eater; it was great and has a rather good ending as compared to the anime (which was horrid in my opinion). I've also watched Soul Eater Not! Just for the sole purpose of seeing Kid and Soul once more. I always appreciate an alternative story which shows me a different perspective of the characters in the main anime.
