Hi I'm Firion, one of the few last surviving Moon Warriors. I'm here to document my art development since I ironically chose visual communication design in uni despite having no skills in drawing whatsoever. So yeah, bear with my horrible art and hope you stick around to watch my progress.

Starting with the latest stuff I've come up with, a collage of some sort. The lecturer said to go wild with these, to come up whatever we want and can think of. So I did just that!

The concept is based around this sentence I've come up with:

"Life is a calm, collected, organized and cold blooded hunter that always stares at you, waiting for the right moment to strike."

Which also reflects how my life currently was. This image is pretty much an illustration on how I fucked myself by underestimating Him.

Nirmana hell, this artwork managed to impact my respiration system. My nose in particular, felt ouchy every time I try taking deep breaths for a few days after I finished this one.

Optical texture lesson. This one isn't hard, its just that it takes a lot of time because we are required to use paints.

'Geometris' and 'Organis' element, not sure how to properly translate that lol.

There was supposed to be a third canvas in the middle of these two, which would have the height of these two combined. In it, the elements from both different style are combined to create a harmonic combination between the straight lines and sharp edges with the curvy lines.

Shame I didn't finished this, I really like how both of them turned out. There goes another ugly score for me.

This one, I speedrunned this one in one night. About 11 hours worth of work without pause, the sun was already quite high when I finished it.

Nothing I'm particularly proud of with this one, it sure is a hell to mess with the paints during all those hours. Oh yeah now I remember, this is the first time I messed with paints.

Paper craft cutout airplane resembling thingy. Made this half-assedly tbh, though I really like how it turned out for something I've come up with in less than 2 hour.

Hair of Time, like... a literal clock having hairs. And chains dangling everywhere, because time is infinite and a pocket watch's chain should be dangling endlessly through the oblivion to illustrates how time itself is infinite.

Is also my inspiration to the clock I drew on february's drawing prompt.

Clock chain hair filling reality is a mind-bending concept.

The topic on this one was to draw a 'hyperbolic visual form of fan war'

So I thought about medieval soldiers, templar knights to be exact. And also a really toxic fanbase, which coincidentally right around the time I came across a newly made video about Userbenchmark making biased reviews on Intel CPUs but shits on Ryzen's even if their product is superior in all aspect, said video can be found below.

If there exist that kind of stupid folks to defend a corporate's product, why not take it on the biggest company altogether? So I went with Google. Not sure if there exist a community of Google worshipers though.

Post-drawing thought : missed the opportunity to make this Dream's stan fanbase lmao.

I was also tasked to make 2 other alternate sketches, and the lecturer will choose one of them from the entire 3. One of the things I drew was a spaceship battle with Chrome's logo at the side of it, and another spaceship that is burning with Microsoft's Edge logo stamped on the side lol.

Didn't like the finished result after coloring the google fanwar piece and I doubt I will ever post it here. So have an ugly futuristic-looking spaceship of Google Chrome destroying a rad flying saucer of Microsoft Edge instead.

probably my best yet, drawn with mouse

traced a photo of mine from last year or so, imbued it with some imagination. what I didn't manage to draw however is the Ekranoplan just outside the field of view.

Missed by a long shot, its a little hut on a swamp. There were dozens of them beyond the field of view, and it legit looks like something from another world at a glance.

I'll upload a video I recorded during my time there, pretty soon I hope.

I don't know if its just me or whether the image doesn't convey the same feeling as being in the actual place, but I truly admire how other-worldly the landscape of this place really looked.

Just put Russia's Ekranoplan on that frame and you got yourself a fantastical premise about an adventurer going on a journey from one floating village to another in a vast ocean of shallow waters, why did they have so many wooden pole sticking out on the water surrounding their houses? I don't know! Maybe they're imbued with ancient spells that ward off the evil things lurking under the water that comes out when night falls.

Idk, I just like how the word 'Magia' rolls. It also has nice composition of letters, the horn trumpet is completely unrelated. The brass paragraph is taken from wikipedia, I guess that kinda fits with the horn? And then there's the buttons and the grid that is kinda... just hangin' there?

This poster is all over the place, I know. I made it in 2 hours while racing with the depleting battery because I didn't bring the charger. But I think the absence of that charger too, is what allows me to finish this piece within that timeframe. I think it turned out okay, I enjoyed making it whilst surrounded by friends playing Mobile Legends in a small cheap restaurant near our campus, one of them asked me whether I got distracted by the commotion in my surroundings and I said not really not at all. Frankly, its like the world doesn't even exist, when I'm in "the zone", if you could call it that I guess.

There is 01 in the background, might make issue 02 if I had the time tomorrow or next week. Still not sure if I could do this regularly or not. Well, I hope I could.

Okay, weekly project it is I guess. This might've been a coincidence because I started working on it around 5 days after I made Magia. Its not such a speedy lightning process like the first one, but at least I managed to finish it.

Still feels like the upper and lower part is too plain, part of me wants to tweak it, another want to just be done with it so I can still claim it as a weekly poster.
