Writer's and Artists: How do they view each other? (6)

As a writer who doesn't draw, I've come to have this fascination with people who draw and create art. I ended up writing a story about an artist, but since I never actually was one, it's just how I imagine the world of an artist being.
As someone who is an artist, who's aim is to create true beauty, and stir feelings in people's hearts, through the creation of their pictures, how does this kind of story look to you?

And there's the reverse. How do artists view writer's? As a writer curious of the world of art, I wrote a story about it. Do artists ever draw pictures of how they picture the world of a writer to be like? Do you have your own view of how you imagine it's like as a writer?

I wanted to make this thread to connect the two worlds, and hear what people have to say from on both sides.

I hope I chose the right board to post it in. Since my focus is on artists, it just felt more right putting it here, but if necessary I can move it.

I didn't read your wattpad post, sorry, but I would like to recommend a manga. It is called Bakumam. It is about an artist and a writer teaming up to create manga. This might help you on finding your answer.

*Bakuman.
Okay... I read your wattpad story now, but it only let me see until "He really was a strange person." I don't know if there was more or if that was it. If that was it... Well, it left me with wondering, "What happens next." To me it sounds like the beginning of story rather than being complete. It was interesting.

I was about to say writing is also art, but what I really mean is that art and writing are both a form of self-expression. so I think both world's are similar.

What a writer looks like in my head. I just drew this right now too.

So it turns out that it won't let you read all of the story unless you have a wattpad account. Here's a link to the same story on a different site.

>>3 I have read most of the manga of Bakuman. To be honest I didn't really like it, or maybe a better way of putting it is that when it comes to being a writer, I found it less interesting due to the genre (shounen) that the stories were. And also from the point of view of a writer, I found the story a little awkward, because the editors will comment on how good a story is, when both the story they commented on and the editor are both written by the same person (the author). So I found it a little weird to think about in that sense.
