I need some art advice. How do you make digital art? I usually use a wacom tablet and gimp, but I would like to know what else is used. It seems like everyone does something different, so I would like to know how they make it and what they recommend.

>>2 Hello! I make digital art and I think that if you have a tablet you have almost everything you need to creat digitally. In my opinion, one of the best software to paint is Paint Tool SAI (Free to use). It's so easy to use and with practice you get good results. Another software is the well-known Photoshop, anyway I only use it for backgrounds and details after SAI.

I hope I've been useful! (Sorry for my english, I'm not a native speaker >.<U)

>>3>>2 While Paint Tool SAI does have a free download, it is still only like a 30 day trial. The full version is $50+ US. Most Wacom tablets should come with some kind of software to get you started though.

Also, if you do download the trial, any .sai images you have on your computer will become inaccessible after the trial ends so I highly recommend that you save them as .jpg or .png (despite the fact you can't access the layers after you do so).
