Hello!!
I really love to draw manga/anime style and I have been for quite an amount of time now. But lately, I've noticed that I'm not exactly improving as I used to and I don't know what to do. I read and watch many tutorials and draw a lot everyday but I still am not improving.
I also have that habit of only drawing heads facing the left xD I've tried drawing full bodies in different poses but all of my bodies are unproportionate and unnatural. Please help me!
Please give me specific answers (and please don't tell me "practice makes perfect" because thats kinda what everyone is telling me..Sorry for being picky. I just really want to get out of this art block. It's killing me slowly) and please provide links if possible!! Thank youu!

First: do you do the skeleton (or backbone?) of your character?
And then you can try to draw with a drawer frinend and share with him your drawings, he will tell you yours defaults, and if he does the same you can be inspirate of his draws...
But that's only my method hope you will like it!

Hum I think that it's good but there is a problem with the glasses the middle line is too long. Maybe I'm not experienced enough to see the others defaults... Maybe the bow tie is in a face angle an has to be in perspective.
To progress you can choose to do something with more details.
I hope I helped you even if I didn't find a lot of defaults (sorry (>.< ) )

honestly, I don't think the glasses were bad at all—the middle line gave it more f a style. if you want help (it's hard to link on mobile, sorry) go to TheWebcomicDojo.com or to their tumblr. there are nothing but tutorials on specific things (for example, if you want to work on poses, go to the menu on the right side and click on "poses." etc etc...) Anything specific is covered, ad you could spend hours on there without wasting a second. that blog is truly a godsend. it has tips and tricks for everything from clothing to hair, and has helped me so much. I'm only recommending this because I have personally found it extremely useful; I hope this helps! ^-^

Personally i suggest you learn the human anatomy for upper portions hand proportion and so on. since your learning manga style i suggest you you should check out 'Mark Crilley' on youtube he will help you alot as well as helping you get started on those proportion's as well as providing really simple talk throughs

I always start off with stick figures with joints. Sometimes you gotta be careful about the neck, dont make it too long. Also for the arms, elbows should be about hip level and if the arms go straight down the whole arm should reach the upper thigh. People tend not be picky with the legs, if they wanna make it short or long.

Hope that helps o,o

Always use a backbone, draw a dummy sketch or a simple skeleton under your character if you're unsure of proportions, so you can erase and correct the simple anatomy easy and fast before moving on to details such as eyes mouth, nose, clothing etc.

Also, besides Mark Crilley's channel on youtube, I strongly advise you to check out these books:
