Hey this seems like the place for this; this is the art category right? I have ideas about some characters, only problem is; I can't draw out my head. Anyone got any tips or practices that could help. Thanks

I have a few characters that I can just never seem to get right on paper, so instead, I write out their descriptions and then use websites/programs with avatar makers. That lets me see a visual interpretation of the design in my head. My favorite one would be IMVU, which is great for semi-realistic designs and has the most options of any avatar maker I've seen. Even if you don't have the virtual currency to buy an outfit, you can build the character in the Shop and screencap it. It doesn't have a lot of options, but RinmaruGames's avatar creator is good for anime-styled characters. GaiaOnline/TekTek.org are also great for chibi/anime/ish characters with a lot of options.

Once you can see them in front of you, it's much easier to draw those characters.
