Well this is beginning very well for a training ;)

You're going to have a long way to go. While there's nothing bad about your art, as it seems you're new to this, do not, and I mean do not call yourself a Mangaka and try to produce a manga that looks as inexperienced as your picture does.

Every Tom, Dick, and Harry tried to produce a manga and just is new to the whole style of things and slops together some badly done panels and calls it a day.

If you're wanting tips, and someone to help you learn (you can't learn a style, only learn basics. A style is your own) then I can set you up a "meeting" so to speak with my artist I have, and he can help you learn.

The picture provided is something he created, before. It's an original piece.

constructive criticism
1: the upper arms are a little too long,
2: the hand holding the sword does not look like he's really holding it
3: the right shoulder is slightly lower then the left shoulder
4: the hand holding the sword needs to be a little bigger

Plus I'd suggest not going for the "I will make the next Bleach manga" and try to imitate Tite Kubo's style. Then if you ever do get GOOD, people won't take you seriously because it'll look like some ripoff manga.

I only showed that art to the OP so they know the artist I mentioned, knows what they are doing, so if they do want help I can contact him for them.

Don't start showing your own artwork on his/her topic.
