*cough* don't you mean manga art style thread XD unless you are going to start posting anime for some reason in the art area, as we already have an Animation area:P
Whey made the thread for posting art that's in an anime style, not to talk about anime or animation. So no, they don't necessarily mean "manga art style thread" I mean they might, but they named it anime.
