Not entirely sure if this is the right thread for this but. I'm currently writing a manga series and I want to get multiple artist's view on the main character
(bear in mind that my only art experience is with stick figures and finger paint) so I want to ask my fellow Dollars artist's to assist me in my view on this manga. I would love to have multiple styles to choose from.
The main character is about 5'11 (not sure if it matters)
Has dark blue hair that reaches length just beyond his shoulders
Loves to wear slacks and a white button up shirt and a blazer and a stylish fedora
I would like if anyone could include a drawing of him with and without his shirt on because he has deep scars all across his upper body that appear as if he was mauled by a wild animal (he was actually tortured) but not his face.
As for the face I'll let you pic the facial features.
And here is a taste of my manga (I encourage criticism). The manga is about a group of people from all around the world that one day dissapear from the face of the earth and one day years later return only, they have certain abilities that they didnt have when they left.

From what little you have said/told us about your manga idea sounds a bit too much like "The 4400" sorry to say.

I know that it sounds like the 4400 with info that I gave however there have been key differences to avoid me totally ripping it off from something else.
The people that were taken did so voluntarily.
They developed special abilities while working for a military federation in space.
Any person with abilities has inside of the the genes of some great beings from when time began.
And everybody that returns to earth A) already has their abilities but cannot use them outside of combat and B) is on leave and knows they can't stay.

This story is more of their lives trying to get used to them instead of the other way around.
Also bear in mind I had no intention what so ever to include telepathy in this manga because I thought there were other more flashier abilities that I could include to make it pop more.
And finally the main character is very high up in the food chain in this "federation" with a past he is trying to keep from his family until he leaves again.
