I've got a question for you all who consider yourselves artists. What type of background sound do you like when drawing/painting/etc.? Do you prefer silence, or some kind of background noise like a TV or music? If you listen to music, more specifically, what types of music or which artist? I personally prefer music because it drowns out everything else. Unfortunately, I am constantly changing and I have not found a decent type to listen to that helps me focus.

I can ignore any noise as long as it isn't horribly loud, so it doesn't really matter ^^ But if I had to choose I would go with silence

Well, I don't mind silence, but I like listening to music as well. My fav. YouTube artist to listen to while drawing is Kyle Landry.

Something calm if I'm working on night and something loud if I'm working on daytime

I also like listening to music when I am drawing usely stuff on youtube, I like just about any kind of music with a good beat or that sounds good to me i,e anything from -
