We already have a MLP thread in Animation, and just dumping images isn't what the Art board is for. Unless you made it yourself, wanted to share a wallpaper (wallpaper thread), or wanted to share a piece or two on occasion with others (art sharing thread), then there's no reason to have this.
If things like this were allowed they'd be shoved to the top of the board relentlessly with content already found elsewhere. On top of that, if things like this were allowed, there would be no reason to stop others from making similar threads for each show/ fandom/ ext., leaving little to no space for people to upload the art to which they've actually put effort into recently.
