Hey, folks. I happen to be a budding voice actor, and I figured that, since there's little to no people in my life who share this interest, I'd see who I can find among this great organization. If you're a voice actor, speak up! I'd like to hear from you.
I'd listen to you. I'm looking to get at least a small community of voice actors together so that I might realize a few projects of mine and help others with theirs as well. Good voice acting can make or break a series, and I aim to deliver the best possible, but I can't do it alone. Any help or support would be wonderful.
I'm not a voice actor, but I always thought it would be a fun hobby. Do you have any examples of your voice acting we could hear, or would you prefer to test the waters by hearing others first :v
In any case, on the subject of budding voice actors, have you heard LilyPichu on youtube? She's done interviews with a few people in the voice cast of League of Legends, and they give really good advice.
Go to http://voiceactingalliance.com/board if you want to find a wide variety of voice actors, directors and so on. It's a pretty big community, where most voice actors on Youtube have originated from.
Sure I can give you a link to what I have so far. It's not that great, though, cause my mic sucks and I didn't have a good script for the first two. http://tallfry.newgrounds.com/audio/ I don't have any background music and in those without scripts I suffer from a vocal tic where I stop in the middle of a word, but this is what I've got so far. You'd wanna check it out from the bottom up. I haven't heard of LilyPichu unfortunately, but I think I'll look her up. I've also been looking at voice acting interviews from some others on Youtube as well, and I even came across the website of Eric Vale and even had the nerve to send him an e-mail asking for some advice in the field.
