Advice for a wayward doodler (3)

1 Name: Little Black Raincloud : 2012-04-24 07:13 ID:GsURET6x [Del]

I used to be good, and I mean really good at drawing, but I've become so caught up in my work and school for the past 3 years that I've grown terrible, and my awesome drawings have become no more than doodles I make on a sheet of paper I'm supposed to be doing work on. I want to get back into the world of drawing sooo badly, but I just never have the time. Any advice for a wayward doodler trying to get back on track?

Set aside a little time each day, little by little, maybe even staying up late or drawing during lunch. Start small, but slowly increase time spent. You'll ruin it more if you try to jump right back in full force, by messing with your psyching about your work, ya know? This worked for me a couple years ago, so that's what I have to say...

Like what panda said up above me. School can really suck bro. But, I doodle on the edges of my paper work too~ I'm just happy I'm not the only who does! :D
