This is Scarelett, a character from a manga I had planned on writing. Also the reason why I try to stay away from drawing humans. I'm terrible at proportions... and hands. Though, this is a step up from what she looked like previous.

Other than proportions I'd say your lines are a bit to stiff. Though this might just be my own opinion because my lines are usually rather lose. Especial with hair to give it flow. For now just work on proportions though.

Okay, so to the people I'm working with(Anu, Black, Aeterna, Ivory), I had this thing jumbling around in my skull for a few days now and had to get it out. Still a work in progress, but I'm stuck. I need something for the shield. Two somethings, actually.
I thought of using this as a tumbnail for something, but Black gave me an awesome idea.
I was thinking of using this as the background for the group pic , instead of some generic forest background, with our characters standing in front of it. Feedback appreciated(goes for you others as well).

I've taken on humans. Just started today and getting some practice.
