Please be aware that drawing by hand is really not my thing. I'm much more comfortable drawing with a mouse in Microsoft Paint or something.

That being said, I managed to crank out a pencil sketch, probably the only good one I've done in a long time. This is after much erasing and two retries.

There's a lot of detail in the hair and face. How long did it take you? You should post some of you MS paint works as well. Along with that, I feel obliged to point out the fact that you don't need to create a thread for a single image. There is a sharing art thread already. If you're planning to post more artwork though, it can go here.

To answer your question, it took me about a week and a half of on-off. As I said, I'm really not that good with a pencil. My handwriting is atrocious and I can't really keep it steady. This result was after erasing and redoing small parts many many times, and this is actually take 3. I've tried two other times and scrapped them.

And here it is in color. My painting's meh; I'm thinking about going for grayscale next. Might look a bit cleaner.
