So I have decided that I'm going to make my own art thread haha :) So just tell me what you think of my work and I'll be sure to keep posting!

#1: Izaya Orihara

The torso is pretty good! But the face is.. really off center and too high.

For >>1, the position of the face should be a little more like this. Line up the end of the jawline with the ear; and line the eyes up about parallel to the ear as well.

This is one of my newer ones, I think I got this one down pretty well, only Ed's fingers are kinda derpish looking haha.

Thanks haha, and its cool :P But yeah, this actually helps me a lot I have never thought of doing it this way. I usually start with the hair first and then add in the chin. I also sometimes have trouble lining up the eyes. Sometimes one eye is too big or too small compared to the other so most of the time I just rage quit and make the person wink haha. (as shown in >>9 with Winry) This is why I chose to draw >>10 because she wears an eyepatch haha.

I tried doing a drastic shadow effect to see what it would look like and I thought it looked kind of cool on him.

Your head shape is... So inconsistent. It appears to change sizes, and given the last couple it's almost like it's growing.

Try to work on proportions, and keeping them consistent. You have the detail aspect down, but it's dissonant when basic things are off.

>>31 Well not all of these are drawn the same day and they are in no specific order. Most of my new ones have the same head shape I think. And it also depends on the shape of the character. For instance one person may have a pointier chin than another person, or wider cheeks.

I did this by pure memory of what I had learned and did not look at anything for guide lines. Its on notebook paper because I wa drawing it during Geometry and I get really bored in there. For some reason the camera took it upside down.

I also drew Edward by memory because I figured I would be able to get him down pretty well after watching a total of 115 episodes and a movie haha :P so here he is without looking at a guide. Pure Memory. (My friend drew the flying milk)
