They're not bad, I can't figure out what the first girl is doing though, is she laying in a pile of leaves?
Best advice would be to reference. If it is a pile of leaves, look at a pile of leaves when you draw it. You don't have to draw the leaves exactly for an original pic, but the general idea should be enough.
You don't seem to do backgrounds either (but since I suck at them too, I'm not gonna give too much advice on them) again, reference. Don't copy, but reference, and if you get an idea, run with it. When I was in school, I was told to think of the background before I draw the subject, (but then I had the problem of forgetting the idea I had for the subject) but its good advice nonetheless. Develop the background just as much as the character if you can.

I think you should work on the waist(s?). They're so skinny, it looks like they've been starved.
In correspondence to the pictures, this is all I could think of.
The first is homeless and is starving
The second is so cold her reserve fat has been burned up to generate heat.
I'm obviously joking around here, they both look really nice! You should draw more and post it here. Looking forward to it!

So this one looks abit more proportionate, but... stiff...

The reason it may look stiff might be in the shoulders. Maybe not for the girl, because she's posing like that, but for the guy. His posture suggests he's relaxed, with his hand in his pocket, yet his shoulders are at 90 degree angles.
Another reason might be the feet. The upper body may be fine, but the legs and feet seem like they're in an army formation.
Try looking in a mirror, and posing like the characters, or simply finding a reference that's in a similar position. Note how the shoulders and legs are positioned, since those seem to be the main issue.
Building off what Bread said, your characters get really thin around the waist. I'm not sure if you do any pre-drawing outlines or anything, but note that the torso is relatively rectangular (unless the character is very skinny), and that the hips jut out more if anything rather than cave in.
Hands might need to be a bit bigger too. An outstretched hand is as large as one's face, after all.

A general rule of thumb is to have the hips slightly less in length than the shoulders, if that helps you. Also, I feel that the heads are sometimes disproportioned, as such with the girl in

Also, do you use a line of motion when you draw?
Straight line of motion can lead to stiffness. (I have problems with that xD)

Okie doke rava, just to helpsies you out. Idk, i read what they said about your art. You're on the right track, things about the bottom half.....I spose the best thing to put it as is: Draw it like you would draw a model. Y'know those luscious curves they have? And their legs are long and thin? And their inner-stomach (is that what it is?) is usually caved in, and then smoothly curve around their body to make hips. :U whoopah, that's all i can say about the hips though, and the same thing with the arms.
My advice wuld to just keep looking at real life models. Like pictures, and then comparing them to the anime. See how they draw figures and stuff, and then start drawing. You don't really have to spend lots of time looking at the pics. just go on google and search some pictures and then compare. :D my bestest wishes /o/

Proportions. Those legs look strange in comparison to the rest of their bodies. Remember that legs are quite a bit wider compared to arms (which are toothpicks here as well! Do check those + the elbows), and that they're not quite that long (Emily's leeegggs).
Unless you're trying to go for xxxHolic proportions, of course.
The bodies are also quite thin; Emily's body comes to mind, but the rest of them do share the same problem.

I think it's been quite a while since I've posted anything on here, so. I think I'll make a bit of a return.

Speaking of expanding, I just tried to draw in the actual style of the show.
It's one of the first drawings I've done in this style.
I haven't been able to scan anything in for months. IT /SUCKS/. But, Yeah, this is one of my friends and my own OC's.
