And I like the shading, and varying line thickness. It's very clean.

The only thing that bothers me about the image is her neck - it's very skinny, or long. It's less apparent because of the collar and the apparent thickness of the jacket over the shoulders.

The neck thing isn't actually all that bad in your other drawings - it could almost be written off as a stylistic thing - it's just that it seemed punctuated in that one because the neck was extra slender.

First coloured headshot in such a long time. I tried a new colouring style this time as well. o uob
The eyes were so fun * u* <3

Male... Or female...

I love how you did the eyes, but the cheeks and nose seem a little off. The left cheek is fine (Left side of the picture), but the right cheek looks a lot like obvious make up because the face is angled to look right at you.

Instead of just assuming it trails off due to angle, you see that it's literally just a soft edge'd blotch of color. It bugs me.

The nose is a terrible offender in this though, not only does it spontaneously look brown, it's shining. It's as if the characrer has recently removed its nose from the anus of something that sparkles.

Other than those two parts, I really like this picture. The shade of red you used for the eyes really goes well with the hair, which was very well done for shading.

As for the issues with colouring, I basically just mimicked someone else's face colouring style for this one. ;; So IDK... I won't use it next time? o 3o

Time doesn't necessarily reflect the quality of the finished product. Perhaps it's just the program that makes the works more time consuming.

Wow. I guess it all depends on who you're comparing to. Some people have more experience since they've been drawing for years. I guess it just takes getting used to :3

Fanart is fanart. Unless you're angelskully on deviantart, close replicas of characters are incredibly hard to do. Instead of 'butchering' the characters, just think of it as 'adding your own style'.

This is the first time I've posted a charcter that belongs to me orz;;

Paka is based off a lion, but she has no actual animal features.
Her 'ears' and 'tail' are just her hair.
Paka means kitten in swahili, and reflects her character: she is playful, curious, and relatively harmless.
She sleeps a lot, and likes fur.
