>>72>>69Shh, you two are being assholes and derailing the thread. Bambi gave some half-assed criticism, Thiamor mistook a comment, both of them have apparently gone full retard to justify themselves.
This is not a thread to try and convince anyone to give any fucks regarding how something was meant or how credible some member is.
End of discussion, back to Losa's art.
On topic: I dislike most of your art. It's a little because the first post gave me a terrible impression, the topic being a pseudo-furry with a very flat "blood" component to it.
Drawing blood well is a difficult thing, as I am not an artist myself I can't really give you a step-by-step advice on how to improve on it. However, the blood you see that's generally high quality has almost a watery effect to it. Are you familiar with how to imply ripples in a body of water? Giving it the illusion of having undulations?
Blood is kind of like that, in a darker fashion and a little more randomized in it's "spill" pattern. Try experimenting with using various shades of red/black in the blood to give it more of a texture, instead of appearing as if someone had been recently splashed with Hawaiian punch.
That said, most of the following pictures were furries - I don't like furries, I have nothing to contribute to drawing furries better; mainly because I don't spend any time looking at furries, so I have no frame of reference for how a well drawn furry looks.
>>7 is by far the best piece in this thread in my opinion though. The proportions were well done, and I'm impressed at how you handled drawing the hand - Hands, and feet in some cases, are supposedly some of the most difficult things to draw well. Whenever I try to draw a hand, I end up with some kind of jellyfish with sausage hanging off it.
It's not pretty.
I think someone made a comment about never-ending legs earlier? Having read the sailor moon manga when I was younger,
I am incapable of viewing any legs as being terrible misproportioned or too long.Naoko Takeuchi made a goddamn career out of this. It's terrifying to look at Mar's legs now, but if you can make it work for you... Well, more power to you I suppose.
