Here's a papercraft of the VF-25 of Macross. It was a bit hard to do this, but I love how it turned out

>>6 If it werent for bad luck I would have no luck at all. Luckily my project only requires skill.... and I just contradicted myself.

>>7 Thats pretty epic, the detail is amazing.

Thanks guys. No way in hell i would have done them if they weren't assigned though.
It's more than time-consuming.
And the thumbnails. Oh lord, the thumbnails..

>>7
Oh shit; nice.
I made a paper craft Mugi once. I'll just say, it was not nearly as nice as that.
And it was pretty tough to do, even though it was basic. So kudos to you.

Bumping my own thread with my most recent one.
Again; cut paper.
It says, "Never underestimate the power of the Dark Side"
Because Star Wars is badass.

Well, this is one of my plates. This monochromatic painting was done on one of our majors. Used watercolor on this. Hope you guys like it.

@Irk I really like the artstuffs you've been posting. I don't know the word to describe why, but I like it.

>>12 Wow, that's really good. I like the amount of detail on everything.
..My compliments lack specificity.

What do you mean by plate, btw?

Holy balls, that's really nice.
What size is that?

>>13 I'm currently taking up architecture, we call our school works( drawings, paintings, scale models, etc.)as plates. Even fine art students do call it that way. :) thanks!

>>14 I've done that on a 15x 18 strathmore watercolor paper if I'm not mistaken. I'm glad you like it ;)

16 Name: misuki : 2011-04-06 01:48 ID:EL94xyMq [Del]

@ Irk I actually really like your works there. It doesn't seem to be too easy to be made.

Thanks. It is pretty time-consming.
I'm getting better (and therefore faster) at is though.

Did this last night. Uh, it was still wet when I took the picture, and a lot of the detail was lost in the shit quality of the photo. But I'll post anyways.
That's black and green ink, and tea by the way.

Not by me, obviously, but this is one of the staircases in my school.
It changes pretty quickly, but this photo's really old.
And the photo itself is pretty dark; the colours are much brighter in there.

Art school, haha. I always lose the doors when I'm in the stairwell.

>>23
Thanks. It's not really a matter of choice for me though, haha.

My final project for drawing.
Sorry for the shitty quality. Blame my phone.

I was just gonna say it's little too small:P

It's cool looking. What's the idea behind it supposed to be?

27 Name: Irk !Y7kBtlCaVo : 2011-04-15 15:22 ID:LHBINW7B [Del]

It was supposed to be a piece on "protest".
So i decided to protest the creative process, and the popular notion of "thinking outside the box" being the best option.
The way I see it, it's usually the people who have the most constraints who end up making the most creative or meaningful stuff. Or, working "inside the box".
So I pretty much just drew a cool box with stuff going on inside it, and a kind of desolate space outside of it.

I guess it's worth it to mention that the shapes of the box were inspired by the "4 and a half tatami mat" rooms. Which are really damn small. 9ft by 9ft. Pretty constraining.

28 Name: bang-bang : 2011-04-16 07:22 ID:RYOWPd3s [Del]

Whoa, simple looking things always have such interesting explanations. I like the concept.
Anyway the idea of thinking outside of the box is restrictive in itself, I think. It just makes you feel inferior for being inside some box that is nonexistent and really subjective too.

"Enough drawing

To be somewhat fair though, drawing threads have gotten pushed pretty far down the list.

Yeah, this is true.

I think I have posted this before but then deleted this afterwards( for no reason at all). Well, this is an old work which portrays surrealism. I hope you get what I tried to show here. :)

Me and my friends were thinking aobut what would be the most bad ass picture ever made and we decided a picture of Chuck Norris swiming up holding an ancor chain lifting the Titanic back to the surffice.
